Acclaimed stage and film director Marishka Phillips is taking the Marishka Phillips Theatrical Preparatory (MPTP) on the road with a series of theatrical and musical workshops coming to Los Angelesfrom October 11th – October 15th.
Now is your chance to train with the thespian coach who has worked with the likes of Kerry Washington, Tasha Smith and Elisabeth Rohm, just to name a few!

On Saturday October 11thMPTP presents the OCTOBER FEST SCENCE BOOTCAMP at the Flight Theater located at 6476 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. Scene Study will begin at 12pm with a warm-up and then go into an on-camera audition with scene of choice.

On Sunday, October 12th, MPTP presents the MPTP IMPROV at the Flight Theater located at 6476 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles. This will not be an ordinary improv class, but an in-depth. Workshop is set to begin at 12:45pm with a warm up, group improvisations and one on one session, with more surprises on the way.

On Monday, October 13th and Wednesday, October 15th, MPTP presents PANDORA’S BOX LA at the Complex Theater.Pandora’s Box is a workshop for the singer who wants to incorporate the craft of acting in their musical skill set, and for the actor who wants to incorporate the craft of singing in their artistic form. The workshop is designed to integrate an emotional life to musical storytelling. This workshop will culminate in a musical showcase by students and special guests entitled Pandora’s Box Live, which will be held onMonday, October 20th at RAGE on Santa Monica Blvd. West Hollywood, CA.
Broadway actress, accomplished director, and thespian guru, Marishka Phillips holds an extraordinary wealth of talent. As an actress, singer, and dancer, Marishka has performed and toured with Sean P.Diddy Combs, and Christian Castro, among many more. In 2011, Marishka founded the Marishka Phillips Theatrical Preparatory in NYC, where she has coached and trained some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Deborah Cox, and Kerry Washington.
